How It All Works

Our approach is methodical and purpose-driven, helping you gain a profound understanding of your wedding's essence. We navigate the realms of colour, texture, and excitement to shape your wedding experience into a seamless and memorable journey, making the wedding planning process a truly fun, and exciting lead up.

Let's break down our process between now and your wedding day.

  • Firstly, make sure to check our availability! We tend to fill up well in advance, so reaching out early is key. Confirm your date using the link here.

  • Next, gather some photos (maybe even from our past weddings) and chat to your partner to get clear on your approximate floral budget.

    Once you complete an initial enquiry form, we will send you a common list of florals which our couples typically ask us to create.

    You can use this an inspiration template when you start consider what special components of your wedding you'd like to incorporate.

    You can also select a time to book an initial floral consultation where we can dream big and talk through your vision.

    This isn't 100% necessary as we appreciate how tough it can be juggling work and wedding planning.

  • After we put together the quote, we'll need a 20% non-refundable booking deposit to save your date. That's when the excitement kicks in!

    Anticipation for your special day should be filled with excitement, and we strive to ensure it's as stress-free as possible!

    We've been there - and felt the overwhelm of planning a wedding and we want to alleviate this for you.

    This is why we really lead our couples through the process.

    You can reach out with any questions you may have and we will provide many prompts to ensure everything is covered (even the things, you didn't know you should be thinking of! - This is what hundreds of weddings and experiences gives us!).

    As the wedding approaches, we'll schedule a final consultation in the weeks leading up to go over your floral choices and styling elements.

    You can make any changes you need to up until this point. It's totally normal to change your mind from quote to final consult.

  • This is where we'll finalise all styles, colours, hire items, candles, fabrics and florals.

    You will have your final table numbers, bridesmaid dress colours and all those finer details.

    You can come into our studio and visualise the candle holders, florals, vases, signage all coming together. It's after this final meeting that BRIDES get really really excited!

  • And finally, the big day arrives! It's truly exhilarating!

    We'll handle everything, from wedding party florals to ceremony and reception arrangements. With efficiency and precision, we'll transform your reception space into the vision you've imagined - and likely even more impressive!

  • Initiating your planning journey is most conveniently done by scheduling a consultation with us. During this meeting, we can engage in discussions about any queries or concepts you may have, exploring the services that may suit your needs. A face-to-face conversation allows us to better grasp your wedding vision and collaboratively devise a plan to transform it into reality. Feel free to reach out and via email and we can book a time to schedule your initial consult.

  • We recommend booking 12 months in advance, or ideally within the 12-18 month planning window. This timeframe allows us to secure your preferred vendor team and ensure availability of key styling and hire items that are often booked well ahead. To maintain a high-quality product offering, we limit our floral services to a maximum per weekend. Therefore, securing our services 9-12 months in advance is advisable to avoid disappointment, especially during peak times. While we can still assist with shorter time frames, feel free to email us for more information.

  • Wedding flower prices can vary significantly, and typically, most of our couples invest between $5,000 and $25,000 in their wedding flowers. As a general guideline, we recommend allocating 10-15% of your total wedding budget to florals. However, if you envision flowers playing a significant role in enhancing the overall experience of your special day, we suggest considering a higher allocation, closer to 25% of your total budget for flowers.

  • If you're not familiar with flower names and are uncertain about your choices, worry not! We specialize in assisting you in discovering your vision. Together, we'll delve into creating a color palette and style that aligns perfectly with your preferences. Our goal is to guide you through the process, ensuring that the flowers chosen reflect the essence of your vision for a truly perfect arrangement. This is one of the things our couples compliment us on the most - that we understood their vision, even when they didn't!

  • We provide an assortment of hire items, including vases, ceremony frames, plinths, diverse styles of candleholders, stone styling pieces, candles, and acrylic wishing wells. Nevertheless, if you're seeking something distinctive that isn't featured on our list, we are more than willing to assist you in locating and sourcing these unique pieces to suit your preferences.

  • Bouquets and buttonholes will be delivered to the bride's location in the morning, and groom's if requested. Following this, our team will proceed to the ceremony and reception venues to commence the setup of all floral elements. We will send you a preview of your florals once all set up. We can offer a pack down service following your reception.
